#TogetherforBedfordshire | What precautions do you take when you’re out and about ?

We’ve had a couple of reports recently of incidents in which valuables and phones were snatched in and around Luton town centre.

We’re following a number of lines of inquiry and we have increased the number of high visibility police patrols as part of our Safer Streets Summer campaign.

But you can help us to help you.

It’s sensible not to have jewellery or other valuables on open display as you walk about.

While you are out, be aware of your surroundings, try not to use your phone. It’s easy to get distracted.
